Main duties of the job
Investigates a range of IT issues. Ensure all work is accurately logged and updated on our Digital ITSM to agreed incident, problem and change management procedures.
To maintain a range cyber security operations responsibilities, and hardware and software supported by the Cyber Security Operations Team.
Where relevant to assist the colleagues, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery of IT systems, and efficient resolution of faults.
Monitor and maintain cyber security software tools.
Ensure that comprehensive technical and system documentation is established, updated, and maintained.
Keep confidential all information under departmental control, or obtained under or in connection with departmental requirements.
Must be able to provide and receive complex technical information, instruction, and advice. This includes all aspects of PC/Peripheral care/maintenance.
Maintain and ensure accurate and appropriate departmental records, whether electronically or manually documented.
To analyse, investigate and resolve complex queries, where there are a number of options, as well as analysing user requirements which may require configuration of software and hardware.
Must be able to plan and organise own day-to-day tasks and activities.
Assign appropriate priority levels to tickets as they are received, based on priority and impact to the Trust.
