An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an outstanding individual to lead the Trust's Digital Training and Corporate Applications Teams.
The Trust is embarking on a new Digital Strategy which will result in the implementation of a single Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system.
In line with the above ambition, experienced gained in supporting and managing application estates during EPR implementations would be particularly beneficial. It is envisaged that the post holder will utilise their experience to help the applications team transition from multiple legacy clinical systems towards a single EPR.
Main duties of the job
The primary objective of this post is to lead the team that develops and maintains the Trust's corporate applications, with the post-holder also being responsible for ensuring all colleagues receive the training they need to operate an appropriate range of digital applications. They work closely with the Associate Director of Applications Services to ensure that objectives & budgets are achieved, and risks are minimised.
The Senior Manager, Corporate Applications Delivery & Training will lead and drive the development and sustainability of the Trust's corporate applications, continually striving to improve quality and responsiveness ofthese systems for the benefit of colleagues and patients alike. They will also be responsible for the development, design, maintenance, and coordination of Digital Training programmes to enable staff to acquire the appropriate level of Digital knowledge and skills to use IT effectively within the Trust.
The post holder will achieve this through the leadership & management of a team of skilled and motivated development and training professionals, either line or matrix managed, to ensure these applications andservices are available and fit for purpose.
