Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced nurse to join the F9 Frailty unit at The Royal Oldham Hospital, with a vacancy for a Band 6 Sister/Charge nurse.The Royal Oldham Hospital is well known for its dedication to patient care and their forward thinking approach. This community focused hospital is all about the 'people' whether it be the patients or the staff members, employees often refer to the warm way people are welcomed.

Essential

  • NMC Registered
  • Recognised teaching/mentorship qualification or willingness to undertake with current equivalent experience
  • Post-basic qualification to minimum diploma standard or equivalent level gained by experience

Desirable

  • Evidence of having undertaken relevant further study or training as required for the post
  • Health related degree
  • Recognised management or leadership qualification

Experience

  • Substantial experience at Band 5 or equivalent within speciality
