Job summary

There is an exciting opportunity for someone to join our friendly Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale (HMR) Integrated Podiatry Team. The team is forward thinking, experienced and with a wide skill mix. We are proud of our service and achievements.

The service is delivered from 6 clinical sites. Domiciliary visits are provided with a strict access criteria and patients are encouraged to attend clinical appointments whenever possible. We go the extra mile to ensure compassionate and personalised patient-centred care, improving service users independence and well being. Our patient feedback is excellent.

Excellent links have been established with our colleagues across community and in the Acute Teams. Cross borough podiatry communication means innovation is embedded at pace and scale in Bury, Heywood, Middleton Rochdale and Oldham with well established peer support.

Main duties of the job

  • Have your own caseload both clinical and domiciliary with peer support from a mixed skill set in the team.
  • Maintain a high standard of clinical work when carrying out podiatry procedures
  • Have good communication skills with patients carers and colleagues and other healthcare professionals and support patient in getting better health outcomes
  • Rotate into different clinical pathways for variation once familiarised with systems and processes.
  • Ensure compliance in clinical governance framework.
  • Ensure compliance in mandatory and CPD training
  • Partake in appraisal with your line manager with realistic yearly objectives for yourself .
