Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and skilled clinician with proven leadership skills, to join our neurorehabilitation service Physiotherapy team, based at the Floyd Unit (one of three INRU's for Greater Manchester).
- You will manage a complex caseload of patients as a lead in the provision of highly specialist holistic assessment and treatment of patients with diverse neurorehabilitation needs.
- You will be committed to delivering a robust training programme within your own discipline and contribute to the training needs of other disciplines across our workforce based at Floyd Unit, across Salford CO and the NCA.
- You will supervise and support career development of junior colleagues and students, whilst providing team leadership and operational management within the neurorehabilitation physiotherapy team.
- You will take a lead role in clinical governance activities and audit.
- You will demonstrate leadership skills in supporting the ongoing quality assurance and service development projects across neurorehabilitation services. You will have an interest in developing research and advanced evaluative skills to support provision of evidence based practice and to enhance future career opportunities

Main duties of the job
Clinical - to lead the physiotherapy team in the provision of evidence based, effective and patient driven rehabilitation.
Leadership - to support the ongoing development of the Floyd unit, NCA and Greater Manchester neurorehabilitation services inline with the GM neurorehabilitation transformation
Operational - to take operational responsibility for the physiotherapy team at Floyd Unit, and to support the AHP leads in the overall operational management of the AHP teams across MCCN neurorehabilitation services
Education and Training - to provide advanced and highly specialist training opportunities through robust in-service sessions, supervision and by ensuring your own ongoing professional development is maintained
