Chief Financial Officer

Job summary

Following a retirement, we have a great opportunity for a Chief Financial Officer to join the Board of the Northern Care Alliance. As a key member of our executive team you will have responsibility for contributing to a culture that is person centred, ensuring a great experience for colleagues and patients and creating an environment that promotes personal accountability alongside delivering safe care for patients. You will provide professional leadership to the Finance, Procurement and Estates & Facilities teams, as well as financial stewardship to the NCA. You will work closely with our Care Organisation Finance Directors to ensure we have robust plans for delivering a challenging budget and cost improvement programme along with ambitious capital plans. You will also play a key part in ensuring the Greater Manchester ICS is able to deliver on its financial commitments, working collaboratively with our partners across the system. You will have a particular focus on ensuring we have robust cost improvement plans in place and developing a long term plan that delivers financial sustainability.

You will be an experienced Finance Director, ready to bring your passion and energy to this role. You will have experience of working across systems and leading change and able to demonstrate your ability to take teams with you in challenging circumstances. But most of all you will bring your confidence, influence, integrity and strategic thinking, role modelling the behaviours we want to see across the organisation.
