Vacancies within the Emergency Village- Emergency Assessment Unit and Ward H2
EAU is a 55 bedded Unit where we treat a range of patients pre-arranged by or medical team or referred via their GP for triage and treatment. EAU has close collaborative care with A&E .
Ward H2 is a 25 bedded respiratory ward. you will be extremely busy and always active throughout the day.
We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated and caring individuals to join our well established teams. EAU and H2 our accredited Wards/Units where we have high standards of care and takes on the Salford Care Organisation Ethos of SAFE, CLEAN AND PERSONAL every time.
Clinical Support Workers play a vital role in line with nurses to deliver excellent care to our patients with broad and varied health conditions. The job is both exciting and challenging where team working is essential and good initiative is paramount.
Experience in healthcare is an advantage but not essential as successful candidates will take part in the care certificate course - developing basic nursing skills before some extended competencies such as obtaining and accurate recording of blood pressure, venepuncture, and ECGs.
Main duties of the job
The post holder is responsible for the delivering of patient care needs and development, devising, implementing, and evaluating programs of care, both for a specific group of patients as the named care provider and in supporting the care of all patients. As a clinical support worker, you will provide daily clinical delivery of evidence-based practice care to the nursing team. You will actively support the Ward Manager in the maintenance of providing excellent nursing care.
