Job summary

Main duties of the job

A wealth of knowledge and experience on the ICU setting which allows individuals to develop and expand on clinical skills. The post will offer opportunities to remain continually up to date with your mandatory training and also allow staff to develop further by completing extra training, expanding their knowledge and clinical skills i.e., Mentorship, ILS and the Greater Manchester Critical Care Course.

We believe continuous professional development is a key element of developing staff capabilities.

You will work as part of the disciplinary health care team providing planned care and delivering the highest standards of patient care within the ICU. The role is exciting and challenging, where compassion, teamwork, excellent communication skills, emotional resilience and initiative are paramount. You must be a great team player, motivated to work in a fast placed environment, with the ability to deal with non-routine and unpredictable nature of the workload and individual patient contact.
