Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity to work as an advanced clinical practitioner within the Childrens integrated Health Care services in Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale , This role is focused around the four pillars of advanced practice whilst developing and maintaining the clinical competencies and quality standards within the team. You will take the lead in the advanced clinical assessment and treatment of a diverse and undetermined caseload of patients aged 0-19, who may have highly complex and/or neurodevelopment presentations You will be supported by and supported by the wide range of clinical and non-clinical team who sit within our service.
Main duties of the job
Responsible for providing an expert nursing service, utilising highly specialised advanced clinical skills to effectively treat/ initiate treatment to children and young people 0-19
Pivotal in the co-ordination of multi-disciplinary input for children with a range of complex and neurodevelopment conditions
Responsible for ensuring and maintaining the highest standards of care are met within the resources available
Participates in the development of a formal education programme and continuous professional development of staff
Responsible for providing professional leadership through being a role model , mentor and practice educator in response to patient / client need and service demand
Responsible for ensuring safe clinical and non -clinical practice within the service
Responsible for providing clinical and non-clinical advice and support and assistance to medical and, nursing and other service users
Ensure excellent and effective communication with patients and or their carers
