Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably experienced operational manager to assume the role of Directorate Manager for Acute Paediatrics.
The post holder will be based at Oldham Care Organisation and have responsibility for the Acute Paediatric service. The post holder will develop and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders within both the Children's community services directorate and the Perinatal division to ensure the delivery of reliable and efficient services against local and national strategies.
Main duties of the job
Reporting directly to the Divisional Managing Director for the Families Division the post is supported by an Assistant Directorate Manager and a Directorate Support Manager. The role assumes responsibility for operational performance (UEC, RTT/Cancer) and in conjunction with the Associate Director of Nursing and Clinical Directors carries responsibility for annual planning, service development, finance and HR for the Directorate.
