Bury and Rochdale Care Organisation is one of four Care Organisations within the Northern Care Alliance NHS Group. Fairfield General Hospital and Rochdale Infirmary have come together to create a Care Organisation with a true focus on delivering hospital and community based care to the highest standard.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 Senior sister/ charge nurse on the Acute medical unit at the Royal Oldham Hospital. We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to lead and develop a team of skilled, dedicated and highly motivated individuals.
Fixed-term/Secondment (9 months) - 36 hours per weekPermanent -24 hours per week
Main duties of the job
We are looking for a dedicated, committed and reliable experienced registered nurse with Leadership experience, who is willing to become part of the Acute Medical Units Senior team. We are looking for an individual who is self-motivated and is also able to as part a of a team and independently when required. This is a forward thinking team and you will need to be a resilient leader who can lead change, motivate and support staff at all levels.
You will be a professional who truly understands the need for care, consideration and respect for our patients but can also lead by example and apply these qualities to your team members. Our patients and their families require someone with compassion and the ability to empathise with difficult situations and be willing to go the extra mile to do what is right by them.
