Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, dynamic, forward thinking Operational Support Manager to join the Clinical Administration Senior Management Team to work together to support with the delivery of the National Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) and support the Clinical Administration Operational Lead with the day to day running of the service and implement any required service improvements.

The ideal candidate will be highly organised, efficient and work well under pressure. You will have strong HR and leadership experience and also of managing a large group of staff. You will be expected to manage your own workload whilst managing, monitoring and delegating the activities of the Clinical Administration team to meet the mandated KPI's and Service deadlines across the Northern Care Alliance.

We are seeking candidates who are self-motivated and can liaise effectively with stakeholders in pursuit of efficiency and service improvement by ensuring standardisation and with a passion for driving the Northern Care Alliance agenda forward.

Main duties of the job

  • Responsible for the direct line management of the Clinical Administration Team Managers and overall management of the Clinical Administration Teams circa 200 staff.
  • Leading by example, motivating and developing staff to drive forward a positive culture for staff wellbeing and patient experience.
  • Responsible for reviewing, maintaining, and developing new standardised operational processes, policies and procedures and work with the Operational Lead Manager to implement and embed into day-to-day practice.
  • Responsible for the delivery of internal and externals KPIs and Targets at a local, regional, and national level and have data analytical skills to present data in a professional format.
  • To deputise where appropriate for the Operational Lead Manager and provide cross cover for peers where necessary.
  • You must demonstrate excellent communication skills, developing effective relationships both inter-departmentally with all levels of staff, service teams and corporate functions and other external organisations such as CCG/GP's and other providers.
