Are you a Band 6 Health Visitor? If so why not come and join our friendly and professional team in Heywood, Middleton or Rochdale.

Our Health Visiting service is looking for enthusiastic Health Visitors to join us. Whether you are an experienced Health Visitor or newly qualified you are welcome to apply.

We work in partnership with the local authority and health services on a challenging and rewarding caseload and are piloting new and innovative ways of working. We strongly encourage creativity and new ideas

Main duties of the job

Role Summary:

The post holder will be based within a team of Health Visitors and skill-mix staff and will contribute to the development of new projects and policies within the health visiting service and will be involved in the research, implementation and evaluation of evidence based practice.

The post holder will be responsible for providing universal, enhanced, and intensive Health Visiting services to children and families from all cultural diversities on their case load. Health Visitors work as a team across locally defined areas and support the service across HMR, to provide a safe service for all preschool children and their families.
