Fixed term contract/ secondment opportunity for 6 months
Health Records are looking for an enthusiastic and organized individual for the role of Health Records Trainer (fixed term/secondment for 6 months). The role involves training a wide range of colleagues across the organisation in health records processes, including the delivery of Health Records Awareness Mandatory Training in-person at the Trust's monthly Clinical Induction sessions.
It also encompasses auditing and follow up with colleagues across the Trust, working collaboratively with staff to increase knowledge of, and adherence to, Health Records policies and processes. In addition it offers the opportunity to work on some admin features of the Mediviewer system to enhance the user experience of digitized health records. The successful

Main duties of the job
To provide mandatory and bespoke training in health records processes both within the department and across the Trust. The postholder will also provide bespoke training sessions both in person and via Teams.
To carry out regular auditing of health records tracking and keeping and feed back to the relevant departments, working with them to formulate action plans to address any issues arising from the audits.
To manage access and training for Mediviewer functions such as direct upload and export.
To support the Health Records Information Manager with management of the digitization of health records, including liaison with the Trust's outsourced scanning provider where necessary.
To attend Trust meetings when relevant.
