Pooled Receptionist - Maternity and Paediatrics

Job summary
We are looking to recruit a pooled receptionist for Women & Children's Services within the Paediatric Department.
This is a permanent contract, which will require some flexibility in working pattern to ensure the service is covered 7 days a week and could involve working any time in a 24 hour period. You will be required to support all our reception teams across the service which will include the wards and outpatient reception areas.
Full and part time hours are available.

Main duties of the job
You will provide a high-quality reception and support service within an inpatient and outpatient setting and as such, will need to be able to communicate well with patients and their relatives, the public and a wide range of multi-professional staff, internal and external to the Trust.
To provide a support service to the technical staff, a versatile approach is essential and the ability to cope with a large number of different tasks simultaneously is a prerequisite of this post. If you are highly organised, methodical in your approach, enjoy patient contact and working within a team then we can offer you a varied and exciting role where you will play a big part in making a difference for our patients.
