Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital

Senior Clinical Fellow in Body Imaging

The closing date is 17 March 2026

Job summary

Applications are invited for the post of Senior Clinical Fellow in Body Imaging at the Department of Radiology at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

The successful applicant will join a team of sixty radiology consultants who have interests in abdominal imaging, including lower and upper gastrointestinal, urology and gynaecology subspecialities. We can accommodate an interest in any or several of the body/ thoracic imagingsubspecialities.

The post is only suitable for senior trainees and applicants would be expected to have had some prior exposure to at least one of the body imaging subspecialities and be in their final year of general radiology training or post-CCT. Given that we have a large radiology training scheme an enthusiasm and aptitude for teaching and training would also be an advantage.

This is an excellent opportunity to train as a Body Radiologist amongst a team of committed and enthusiastic consultant trainers with excellent research opportunities and the opportunity to develop educational skills in a busy teaching hospital environment.

Main duties of the job

Key responsibilities of this post include reporting a wide variety of body imaging and performing interventional procedures including US and CT guided biopsies and drains, participating in specialist meetings and supporting MDTs and teaching. Job plan flexibility with consideration of extended working hours would be desirable.
