Our Jenny Lind Children's Hospital incorporates Children's Inpatient, Ambulatory, Emergency, Neonatal and Outpatient care. We treat children and young people across a broad range of specialties including Paediatric Medicine, Surgery, Orthopaedics, ENT, plastics and much more. We also have a dedicated Surgical and medical HDU. Our collaborative team care to children living in Norfolk and for those accessing specialist treatments across the Eastern Region.

We currently have an experienced paediatric registered nurse Band 5 Vacancy within Jenny Lind Children's Hospital

Main duties of the job

We are looking to employ highly motivated and skilled and experienced paediatric nurse Band 5 who will be responsible for promoting and implementing practice conducive to the development of high-quality child/ young person and family centred care by providing professional, clinical and managerial leadership.

You will take charge of the Ward/Department in the absence of the Ward/Departmental Sister/Charge Nurse and provide support and guidance to all staff.

You will also support the delivery of a high quality, safe and compassionate healthcare service, all staff are expected to act as a role model to others in all aspects of their work and consistently demonstrate NNUH's 'PRIDE' values of People focused, Respect, Dedication, Integrity and Excellence
