Fixed term contract/ secondment opportunity for 12 months

Play a vital role in transforming how policies are managed across the Norfolk & Waveney Community Diagnostic Centres and within the Radiology departments at James Paget, Norfolk and Norwich and Queen Elizabeth Hospitals. Working within a dynamic project team, you'll support the implementation of a new Policy Management System (PMS) that will enhance governance, streamline documentation, and improve service delivery across three major acute hospitals in Norfolk.

The CDC PMS Implementation Administrator is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong organisational, communication, and data management skills who thrives in a collaborative environment. You'll liaise with clinical and operational teams, support training, and help ensure the PMS meets the needs of our Radiology services.

Main duties of the job

As the CDC PMS Implementation Administrator, you will:

  • Support the Compliance Manager in delivering the PMS project.
  • Coordinate with clinical and operational stakeholders across multiple hospital sites.
  • Manage data cleansing, document migration, and system training.
  • Monitor system performance and contribute to project reporting and evaluation.
  • Act as the key liaison between the project team and the system supplier.

You'll be responsible for producing clear, accurate reports, handling enquiries, and ensuring smooth communication across workstreams. You'll also help deliver training and support the governance of the PMS.

We're seeking someone with:

  • Strong data handling and reporting skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and project coordination.

  • Works as a member of the CDC PMS Project team, supporting the teams overall work plan.
  • Establishes productive working relationships across Radiology, Imaging Specialty Clinical Network (SCN) and in the Norfolk & Waveney University Hospitals Group.
  • Support, assist and deliver tasks with and on behalf of the work streams.
  • Collate data to inform and write clear and accurate reports for the Imaging SCN, Joint Procedural Document Alignment Group and Acute Clinical Strategy Programme Board.
  • Fielding enquiries by acting as a point of contact for queries related to the project and its activities, providing timely and accurate information or redirecting enquiries to the appropriate team members as needed.
  • To support the Governance Compliance Manager with the management and governance of the Policy Management System and process.
  • Identify situations or enquiries that require input or decision-making and promptly escalate them to the appropriate project team members or leads, ensuring efficient resolution and progress.
  • Serve as the main liaison between the system supplier and the project team, ensuring smooth communication, timely updates, and effective coordination.
  • Assist with the set up and management of PMS training for staff.
  • Support the monitoring and evaluation of the centralised PMS, ensuring its functionality, performance, and alignment with the project's objectives. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to address any identified issues or areas for improvement.
