Job summary

We have embarked on a programme to implement a single Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system as part of the NHS digital health ongoing initiative across the Norfolk and Waveney Acute Hospital Collaborative (NWAHC). The collaborative is made up of three acute hospitals in Norfolk and Waveney;

Main duties of the job

We have a wonderful opportunity for an experienced Training Manager to join the EPR Programme.

This is an exciting role where the EPR Training Manager will oversee the development and delivery of training for the implementation of the MEDITECH Expanse Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system across Norfolk and Waveney Acute Hospitals (NWAHC), under the direction of the EPR Training Project Manager.

The EPR Training Manager will be responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of the EPR training, including overseeing the design of high-quality training materials, managing the Totara Learning Management System (LMS) and recruiting and leading a team of training creators/trainers. You will play a key role in preparing the workforce for go-live and ensuring staff are equipped to use the new system with confidence.

This role is ideal for someone who is calm, adaptable and organised, able to manage competing priorities and remain responsive in a fast-paced and evolving environment. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills are essential, along with proven experience of leading training programmes, ideally within healthcare.
