Job summary
We have embarked on a programme to implement a single Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system as part of the NHS digital health ongoing initiative across the Norfolk and Waveney Acute Hospital Collaborative (NWAHC). The collaborative is made up of three acute hospitals in Norfolk and Waveney;
- James Paget University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (JPUH)
- Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (NNUH)
- The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn NHS Foundation Trust (QEH)

Main duties of the job
There are three Programme Support Officer roles being recruited to at 37.5 per week (full time).
- Design, Build & Test workstream, also supporting Clinical & Operational Design Authority workstream
- Technical workstream
- Transformation & Adoption workstream
As part of the day-to-day management of the Norfolk & Waveney Acute Hospital Collaborative's Electronic Patient Record (EPR) Programme of work, we are seeking innovative, self-motivated individuals to work collaboratively within the role of Programme Support Officer (PSO). The role is responsible for ensuring that specific Programme Workstream delivery is effectively progressed, tracked, monitored and reported through agreed governance processes. This will include reporting and tracking milestones for your Programme Workstream ongoing within the Programme, ensuring updates are received from all owners, and chasing if required.
This role is responsible for ensuring correct reporting of risks and issues, decisions and actions, and effective escalation processes across the portfolio, ensuring accuracy and correctness, and challenging where appropriate. The role takes responsibility to ensure the effective creation, monitoring and continuous improvement of Portfolio processes, procedures, and tools. The role has responsibility for ensuring Quality Assurance on Portfolio documentation.
