We have embarked on a programme to implement a single Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system as part of the NHS digital health ongoing initiative across the Norfolk and Waveney Acute Hospital Collaborative (NWAHC). The collaborative is made up of three acute hospitals in Norfolk and Waveney;
James Paget University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (JPUH)
Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (NNUH)
The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn NHS Foundation Trust (QEH)

Main duties of the job
We are seeking a Communications Assistant to work on the collaborative Trusts' EPR programme, helping to showcase to the organisation the benefits of the new EPR system, as well as helping to turn complex information into messaging that is understood by staff, stakeholders, patients and the public.
This is a busy and varied role, requiring flexibility, attention to detail and the ability to multi-task. The job holder must have a range of administrative and IT skills, including knowledge of website and intranet software editing programmes, and be extremely organised.
The role's communication responsibilities include:
- Assisting the EPR Communications Manager in the delivery of key strands of the EPR communications strategy
- Contributing to all aspects of the EPR Programme's communications.
- To write content for the dedicated EPR website and keep pages updated, helping to maintain the accurate and timely information for all users.
- To provide communications support for internal and external EPR activities and media queries
