Job summary
The Norfolk & Norwich Hospital is designated as a Major Trauma Unit as part of the regional Trauma Network. We are active participants in the Trauma Audit Research Network (TARN) which requires submission of various datasets relating to Trauma Patients. The Trauma Audit Research Network (TARN) Administrator post will support collection of these data and will be based within the Surgical Division (largely working within the Emergency & Trauma & Orthopaedics Directorates but also be supported by other corporate departments)
Main duties of the job
The Trauma Audit Research Network (TARN) Administrator will ensure efficient, effective, and high-quality data entry to TARN. The duties will include collecting data and information to ensure accurate data is obtained and maintained, to ensure compliance with local, regional, and national data requirements. The TARN Administrator will work closely with the Trauma Coordinators and Business Intelligence Teams to identify appropriate patients for submission to TARN.
