The Medical Workforce team is responsible for ensuring the timely recruitment of medical staff of all grades, obtaining locum cover and providing a general human resources service for doctors employed by the Trust.
This is an integral role within the Medical Workforce team, helping to ensure that locum bank cover is provided to support departments/doctors for any medical vacancies within the rota. The Medical Locum Recruitment officer is responsible for providing support and advice to divisions and directorates to ensure a high-quality locum medical recruitment service is delivered.

We are a hardworking and committed team that continue to work flexibly and as such, after an initial period of training, a combination of working from home and office-based working can be arranged. The Medical Workforce team is based at our Rouen Road offices.

Main duties of the job
We are looking for someone who has recruitment experience, agency/temporary staffing and/or experience of payroll process and queries, however, we are open to consider transferable skills which would suit this role such as being organised, methodical and proactive.
The role is diverse and engaging, involving a range of responsibilities including co-ordination of vacancies with internal and external partners including agencies from the Government Procurement Service approved framework as well as processing invoices and timesheets for payment in association with locum provision using relevant software tools.
As the successful candidate, you will:
- Provide specialist recruitment and HR administrative services to locum medical staff in accordance with appropriate National Guidelines and Trust Policies.
- Liaise with divisions and directorates to ensure a high quality locum medical recruitment service is delivered.
- Support the delivery of a high quality, safe and compassionate healthcare service.

- Preparation of locum status information and financial reports for circulation to the Divisional managers, HR and other relevant committees.
- Processing invoices and timesheets for payment in association with locum provision using relevant software tools.
