We have 144 en-suite rooms onsite with hotel stays and longer tenancy stays. The Department is committed to providing a high-quality service to those living in our accommodation.

Full time: 37.5 hours per week

Main duties of the job

We are looking for a focused, enthusiastic organized individual to supervise a small a team of housekeepers. This is a challenging role, making sure the NNUHFT residences is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness throughout.

The housekeeper supervisor role is an integral part of the residences working alongside both maintenance and office team. As part of the role, you will have face to face contact with medical professionals, so a positive and friendly disposition is required but also the ability to supervise a team to ensure all works are carried out efficiently.

As part of the role, you will be responsible for allocating work to others in your team, monitoring/carrying out audits of work and bringing to the attention of any discrepancies to management in the office.

You will be: supervising daily staff and designating cleaning zones. Responsibility for keeping all kitchens, communal areas, and bedrooms to a high level of cleanliness and maintaining stock control.

Assist with the preparation of staff rotas ensuring fair distribution and allocation of duties whilst allowing for staff leave and other absences.
