An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, Change Management professional to join the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals working in conjunction with the neighbouring Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King's Lynn and James Paget University Hospitals in Great Yarmouth as Programme Business Change Manager for the delivery of the N&W Diagnostic Assessment Centres (DAC).

You will be an integral part of the Programme Office working with all members of the team, as well as trust leads to ensure that the Programmes' committed benefits are delivered in line with the approved business case.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in project management and or significant programme and project business change management experience. You should be able to evidence continuous professional and personal development and have experience of working in a large and complex organisation.

We are looking for an excellent communicator who is able to engage and influence staff across disciplines.

Main duties of the job

The postholder will be involved ensuring the strategic elements of operational, digital and workforce workstream changes are embedded, managing the inter-relationships between the projects, workstreams and BAU operations throughout the delivery of the DAC programme.

As the Programmes Business Change Manager, you will:

  • Work closely with members of the Programme Management Office, Workstream leads, and trust department leads to ensure delivery of Programme Benefits.
  • Establish and implement the mechanisms by which benefits can be delivered and measured
  • Attending and presenting to Programme and Project Board meetings as required to support and report on benefits realisation
  • This role offers the opportunity to work on a nationally recognised £85.9m transformation programme, the largest capital investment in the N&W ICS in the last 20 years
  • The opportunity to work across a Programme and influence change management for this major scheme across three trusts
  • Be a key member within a fun and dynamic, multi-trust programme.

  • Obtaining assurance for the sponsoring group or SRO that the delivery of new capability is compatible with the realisation of benefits.
  • Working with theprogramme managerto ensure that the work of the programme, including the scope of each project and workstream covers the necessary aspects required to deliver the products and services that will lead to operational benefits as identified and measured within the Programmes Benefits Realisation Plan.
  • Working with the programme manager to identify, support and lead as necessary the delivery of projects and workstreams that will contribute to realising benefits and achieving the agreed outcomes, defining and implementing policies and processes as required.
  • Ensuring that maximum improvements are made in existing and new business operations as groups of projects and workstreams deliver their products into operational use.
  • Researching, identifying, defining and tracking the benefits and outcomes required of the programme, further identifying the necessary training requirements and delivering training as appropriate to ensure the changes are successfully embedded.
