Job summary
Applications are invited for the position of Clinical Fellow (ST3+ Equivalent) in General Paediatrics. This post is full time and has been created to support service and training within the General Paediatric Department. The posts will be part of the Tier 2 Paediatric Roster of 10 WTE doctors between ST3 and ST8 until March 2025 when there may be the option of a further extension.
Basic salary £55,329.00 per annum, plus additional elements for additional hours, weekend and overnight working.

Main duties of the job
The Tier 2 roster covers clinical duties and patient care within all general paediatric areas, including the Children's Assessment Unit, Buxton Ward, Children's Day Ward, and the Jenny Lind Outpatient Department, as required.
A separate roster operates in neonatology. This post has no neonatal responsibilities.
Subspecialty experience is available, as appropriate to the applicant's experience and interests.
