24 month Fixed term contract/ secondment opportunity
The Career Development team are a busy team implementing and overseeing the running of various programmes such as Apprenticeships, Work Experience, and Work Employability programmes across the Trust.
We work closely with Trust divisions to support with workforce development through the ultilisation of apprenticeship programmes.
We also work closely with the community and stakeholders across local NHS Trusts, DWP Job Centre, local schools and colleges to widen access and participation to careers in the NHS which builds upon the diverse workforce at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
The Trust was highly commended for Norfolk at the 2022 National Apprenticeship Awards in the Macro Employer of the Year category.

Main duties of the job
As the successful post holder, you will:
- Be responsible for the successful delivery of a variety of Talent for Care projects at Trust and ICS levels that supports future workforce development plans and initiatives.
- Work with the Career Development Manager to ensure that all programmes and initiatives are planned and delivered within agreed resources, timescales and quality parameters and is compliant, where appropriate, with the individual project management guidelines and corporate policies.
- Lead on the Step into Health programme in Norfolk and Waveney, T-Level and Work Matters placements at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust building strong work and relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide a professional and high level of NHS Careers Advice Service, mentoring and support to candidates and students on programme and oversee Trust work experience programmes including ad hoc work experience requests at the Trust.
We are looking for an individual who:
- is proactive and enthusiastic and can communicate clearly with all stakeholders
- has a strong organisational skills who has the ability to prioritise and coordinate projects effectively
- Possesses excellent IT and data analysis skills
- has extensive project management skills and experience
- has experience working within Talent for Care in the NHS
