Job summary

The Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (NNUHFT) Digital Health team is responsible for the delivery of digital services across the Trust to support its clinical and administrative obligations

The Department comprises of 4 main areas - Digital Hospital, Operational, Informatics & Information Governance and made up of over 50+ staff. Our aims are to provide the highest degree of digital services and support to the Trust staff, the Trust's partners, and commissioners

The Digital Health Technical Team is looking to recruit an experienced Technical Team Support Analyst. The ideal candidate will be someone who understands the value of providing outstanding customer service and is able to effectively balance the need for IT service delivery with the operational needs of a large, busy hospital. Able to work proactively under pressure and deliver against individual and team Key Performance Indicators.

The successful applicant will have a good breadth and depth of IT knowledge with experience gained through having operated in a similar role. The post holder will be required to work without supervision, will need to understand the complexity of the overall Digital Health infrastructure across multiple locations, and be able to provide support for the various systems supported.

Experience within the Healthcare sphere would be preferred although is not necessary, however, proven third line technical experience with our core technologies is desired (see below).

Main duties of the job

The Digital Health Technical Team is responsible for the resolution of incidents, problems, and service requests within agreed SLAs. The role will also include providing third line support to the Trust's users and is responsible for ensuring the optimum use of the Trust's Digital Health infrastructure and applications including managing capacity, proactively monitoring error conditions and alerts.

As a large and busy technical hospital, we provide services around the clock, 7 days a week across multiple sites, therefore, there is an expectation that the candidate will join the teams' on-call roster and provide out of hours support when proficient in the role.

Knowledge of supporting and configuration of :

VMware (vSphere, vSAN, NSX, vROps), NetApp, CommVault, Dell Server Hardware, Windows Server 2003 -2022 , Microsoft SQL, Microsoft SCCM.

While the role is based at the main hospital site, you will be expected to travel to the Trust's other sites when required for work purposes, for which transport will be provided, so a full driving license is essential.
