Job summary

We are delighted to be able to advertise a range of Paediatric Clinical Psychology vacancies at the Norfolk and Norwich University. Several vacancies and new posts have been released simultaneously due to growth in the team, and we can therefore offer options of working within a particular specialty or combining specialties to get a broader range of experience.

You would become part of the Clinical Psychology team at the NNUH which is a team working within several areas of adult and Paediatric health psychology. The wider psychology team meet on a regular basis, and you would have clinical supervision from an experienced Clinical Psychologist.

You would be based at the NNUH and would become an integral member of the specialty MDT's as well as the Paediatric clinical psychology department. We have posts covering several clinical areas which could be applied for or combined to make part-time or a full-time posts. We would be happy to be flexible about combining hours to form a role which would suit you as an applicant. The specialities currently being advertised are Gastroenterology IBD/or Rheumatology (7.5hrs), Cystic Fibrosis (15hrs), Oncology (15hrs), Diabetes (18.75hrs) and Epilepsy (30hrs).

Main duties of the job

There will be opportunities to do both individual work, group work and family work, depending on the specialties you work in. There is always encouragement from Clinical Psychology colleagues to develop audit and research ideas, and there are currently several audits and research projects being run by Clinical Psychologists.

There will be opportunities to have a Clinical Psychology trainee, if appropriate for your stage of qualification.

  • Post-graduate doctorate (or its equivalent for those trained prior to 1996) in Clinical Psychology
