Fixed term contract/ secondment opportunity for 18 months
Mulbarton ward is a 34 bedded unit caring for oncology and palliative patients.
We are looking for a team of complimentary therapists to offer patients/carers and staff with massage, aromatherapy, reflexology and reiki to provide comfort and support and impart a feeling of wellbeing. This will offer relief of symptoms of anxiety, tension, nausea and insomnia.
This is a 18month fixed term contract funded by NNUH charitable funds.

Main duties of the job
The complementary therapist coordinator will provide a holistic, evidence based complementary therapy interventions to patients/carers/bereaved/staff and support a team of trained complementary therapists providing support, advice, clinical supervision, and education.
In addition the coordinator will work alongside members of the multidisciplinary team to promote the service and ensure the service meets the demand of the service users.

- Organise ongoing training for staff/volunteers and help with access to external education and training if required.
