Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen at the Norfolk & Norwich University Hospitals NHS Trust to work within the Organisational Development and Learning department to influence organisational improvement and change initiatives, develop leadership and management capability and help to embed our vision and values to improve staff engagement, satisfaction and well-being.
The successful candidate will offer expert professional advice and consultancy to the organisation by working closely with HR Business Partners and the Divisions to support the Organisational Development work in embedding values and behaviours, leadership development and support service improvement.
Main duties of the job
You will have experience in supporting the development, delivery and evaluation of a wide range of training and organisational development interventions that deliver sustainable improvements in individual, team and organisational performance.
The ideal candidate must be highly motivated, have previous experience in an organisational development and learning environment, delivered leadership development programmes and be able to communicate effectively at all levels in the organisation.

- Provide Organisational Development (OD) and Leadership development expertise for the implementation of the Trusts Workforce and Education strategy to improve organisational health and performance
- Championing and embedding the Trusts PRIDE values and behaviours, acting as a role model and ambassador for the Trust
- Promote and develop a culture of innovation, quality improvement and continuous Learning and Development
- Act as an internal consultant, identifying, designing, developing, delivering and evaluating a range of bespoke OD solutions for senior leaders, teams and individuals, based on best practice and contemporary evidence
- Provide OD support and consultancy to the Divisions; sharing the work across the OD & Learning Facilitator posts to deliver a connected and co-ordinated OD service to those areas, responding to urgent requests for support
- Work with Divisional management and HR Business Partners to provide facilitation for events and team building activities, advising on content and format and developing tailored materials, where appropriate
- Be creative and innovative in the design, delivery and evaluation of leadership and management development, OD interventions, activities and events to increase engagement and raise the confidence and capability of managers
- As a subject matter expert, provide specialist advice and guidance to managers and staff on appropriate learning and development and leadership interventions to meet individual and organisational needs, meeting budget and time constraints
- Ensure that all organisational development and leadership interventions are quality assured, accessible to clinical and non-clinical staff and meet the requirements of all internal and external standards and practices
