Are you a self-motivated and sharp minded individual, with experience in a PMO environment and of running small projects? We have an exciting opportunity for a PMO/Project Manager within the Programme Management Office at the NNUH. This is a key role that will support the PMO in continuing to drive the delivery of Business as Usual Cost Improvement Programme (BAU CIP) and Strategic Transformation Initiatives (STRAT) across the Norfolk and Norwich Health Care Trust, contributing to the Trust's sustainable financial recovery.
The role focuses on the reporting, control and monitoring of all cost transformation projects across clinical and non-clinical divisions to facilitate clear visibility of progress and challenges. In addition, close consultation with our project managers and divisional business managers is required to ensure outputs and updates are accurate, whilst adhering to processes and stage gates. On some occasions you may be asked to own the end-to-end delivery of a small divisional project. Whilst we have governance and control in place, the role presents a fantastic opportunity to craft and deliver a PMO function that makes a real difference.
Main duties of the job
The hybrid role of PMO/Project Manager provides the opportunity to work within two elements of the Transformation landscape within the NNUH. Covering projects and programmes across all Divisions and staff groups, the post holder will experience working alongside multi-disciplinary colleagues to drive and assist in the delivery of transformation.
PMO - The post holder will thrive in a fast-paced environment, being able to provide effective support in the challenge, monitoring and delivery of the BAU CIP and STRAT programmes for the Trust. Attention to detail, a robust knowledge of PMO and Project Management frameworks, coupled with a willing to learn and progress are key. The post holder will be an integral part of the PMO Team, sharing their valuable knowledge and skills with colleagues, and bringing new ideas to the ever evolving Transformation landscape.
Project Management - The post holder will competently apply analytics methodology in Transformation Programmes construction, delivering a robust planning framework to deliver on projects, building in comprehensive review and monitoring processes. Your skills and knowledge will be valuable asset to the team and colleagues, with innovative ideas helping to progress planning and delivery.
