Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Ophthalmology department for an Ophthalmic nurse to learn the enhanced skill of intravitreal injections to help meet the demands of the service and needs of the patients. The successful candidate will be part of a large and supportive team, working with the Medical Retina (MR) Consultants, other nurse injectors, MR co-ordinators team and the current nursing staff at NNUH, Central Norwich Eye Clinic (CNEC) and Cromer.

Main duties of the job

An exciting opportunity has arisen on a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave. The MR team are looking for a new nurse to join the Ophthalmology MR Specialist Nurse Team. We welcome applications from Registered Nurses with a minimum of two years ophthalmic experience to join our team.

You should be an enthusiastic and committed professional, with the passion and drive to provide the highest quality ophthalmic care to our patients. We work closely with all our ophthalmology teams and all health care professionals. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced nurse who is dynamic, friendly and who strives to provide an excellent standard of care.

You will need to be flexible and be prepared to work between the three sites at NNUH, Cromer and CNEC.
