We are excited to be recruiting for a new position for a Senior Project Manager. The Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital working in conjunction with the neighbouring Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King's Lynn and James Paget university Hospital in Great Yarmouth in an exciting partnership with the East of England Imaging Academy have collaborated to develop 3 amazing new build, Diagnostic Assessment Centres (DAC), one for each of the acute trusts.
As the Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital (NNUH) Senior Project Manager you will help deliver the NNUH DAC as part of the joint venture which has been designed to address growing demand now and in the future across the region. From these fantastic new facilities, there will be an increased focus on providing superb patient care offering a dedicated outpatient imaging facility to support delivery of faster, common patient pathways.
As the Senior Project Manager, you will be working as an integral part of the NNUH Project as the lead and main point of contact for development of the DAC Estate, working in partnership with the Trust's Estates and Facilities team, DAC Project and DAC Programme Director and DAC Contractors.
We are looking for someone with a proven experience of successful project management, including a portfolio of high value (more than £10m) complex construction projects.
Main duties of the job
As the NNUH Estates Senior Project Manager you will act as the lead and main point of contact for the DAC build, working in partnership with Trust's Estates and Facilities team, DAC Project and DAC Programme Director and DAC Contractor.
Oversee all contractors on the DAC build site whilst working alongside the EA, to manage the main contractor, supporting the EA and NNUH DAC Project Manager in obtaining employer direction regarding construction issues, whilst ensuring that all output is compliant with strategic intent, relevant legislation, policy and process.
Work on a nationally recognised £85.9m transformation programme, the largest capital investment in the N&W ICS in the last 20 years.
Leading on the NNUH's £36m construction project. within a multi-trust programme.
Working with in a fun and dynamic, multi-trust programme.

- Lead, with service clients, on the detailed planning for new developments.
- Provide estates project management expertise for the construction of the NNUH DAC through strategic planning, option appraisal, appointment of consultants, design development, award of contract, commissioning and evaluation as required.
