Senior Occupational Therapist

Job summary
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our Intensive Outreach Team, supporting people with complex mental health needs to achieve meaningful recovery within their own homes and local communities. As part of this innovative service, you will deliver person-centred, evidence based occupational therapy interventions that promote independence, wellbeing, and social inclusion.
You will work closely within a supportive multi-disciplinary team, contributing your clinical expertise to holistic care planning and risk management. Based on the assertive outreach model the team work with people who experience psychosis or may have bi-polar disorder who are disengaged from mental health services.
Main duties of the job
You will also become part of a wider community network of Allied Health Professionals, enabling rich professional collaboration, shared learning, and development opportunities across services. In addition, you will have regular access to peer supervision with Occupational Therapists across the directorate, ensuring you are well supported in your practice and ongoing career progression.
