We have an exciting opportunity to join the friendly, motivated Coventry & Warwickshire Community Special Care Dental Service based in Stratford Hospital.
The service also comprises an Oral Health Promotion team, a domiciliary service, sedation service and provides regular GA sessions at University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire & George Eliot Hospitals.
This post holder will have the opportunity to assist in the provision of special care and paediatric dentistry, incorporating Inhalation and IV Sedation, General Anaesthetic sessions and domiciliary care.
The Community Dental Services are based across Coventry & Warwickshire. The service currently operates Monday - Friday.
Main duties of the job
We require an enthusiastic and conscientious Dental Nurse to join our professional and supportive team of Dentists, Dental Therapists and Dental Nurses to provide patient focused community dentistry for people with more complex needs and conditions.
We are recruiting for a Full time Permanent post; for 37.5 hours, but would be willing to discuss part time or flexible working.
The successful candidates will bebased at Stratford Hospital.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required for this post.
Car owner/driver essential.
You will be responsible for assisting the clinician in the day-to-day running of the surgery working under the supervision of the Senior/Specialist Dental Nurses, Governance and Operational Leads.
