Perm/Fixed Term-Permanent: Working in Pain Management but accountable to Physiotherapy. Working pattern 2 full days.

We have an exciting opportunity for an Advanced Practitioner Physiotherapist/Occupational Therapist to join our growing and multidisciplinary Pain Medicine department here at George Eliot Hospital. The post holder will need experience with and understanding of managing a complex caseload of persistent pain patients and delivering the department's Pain Management Programme.
In addition to the clinical duties of the role, there will be plenty of opportunity to be involved in service evaluation, transformation, research, audit, pathway development and quality improvement.
The post holder will work closely with Consultants in Pain Medicine as well as nursing and psychology colleagues.

Main duties of the job
- To autonomously manage a complex clinical caseload of patient with persistent pain conditions.
- To provide clinical leadership for the physical management of patients with persistent pain conditions.
- To act as an expert Physiotherapy Practitioner and leader within the wider MSK Therapy Team.
- To support the Pain Management Service in clinical improvement projects.
