Main duties of the job
If you are a newly qualified pharmacist or a pharmacist in another sector wishing to add acute hospital experience to your portfolio, we can help further your career with a step programme to progress you to Band 7 level alongside external training opportunities. You will be mentored and supported to achieve this during placements across both sites.
As the successful candidate, you will provide a high-quality clinical pharmacy service to all patients across the Trust, working closely with all members of the pharmacy team and the ward based multi-disciplinary teams. You will have opportunities to gain experience in various areas of the pharmacy specialties through a structured, competency assessed, rotational programme covering specialties in:
Acute Medicine
Cardiac Services
Women's and Children's Services
Gastro medicine and surgery
General Surgery
General Medicine
Respiratory Medicine
Neurosciences
Aseptic Services
Community Services
Trauma and Orthopaedics
