Main duties of the job
Working within EPAU & Gynaecology outpatients. We are looking for flexible, friendly and hardworking individual to join our Gynaecology Team.
- Welcoming patients and members of the public and responding to queries that arise or referring to relevant clinical personnel.
- To answer the telephone and ensure that information is correctly handled and disseminated appropriately.
- To ensure the Patient Administration System is kept up-to-date and reflects patients currently in the area.
- To ensure that all of the relevant documentation (front sheet and patient labels) are printed and copies are available in the notes for every patient.
- In line with the Trusts' Medical Records Policy, ensure that all filing is kept up to date and sent back to the Medical Records Department for filing
- Training will be given with relevant databases.
- To arrange patient follow ups and other appointments as required.
- To input attendance , admission transfer and discharge data to the necessary patient administration & information's systems, ensuring patient and GP's accurate and updated as necessary to arrange patient follow up and other appointments, as required.
