Health Care Support Worker - Women's Health

Job summary
An opportunity has arisen within the Women's Health Outpatients Department for a Health Care Support Worker. This role is to support the Registered Nurses and the Doctors within the department while they are seeing patients in the department and performing treatments and procedures and also during consultations with patients. The post holder will be required to act as a chaperone for patients and support patients.
We are looking to recruit someone with excellent communication skills who is able to use the IT systems that are in place, but full training and support will be provided. A keen interest in Gynaecology and Women's Health would be desirable and a sensitive approach is essential.
Main duties of the job
Working with Doctors and Nurses in clinic.
Cleaning and decontamination of equipment and environment.
Setting up for clinics and ensuring they run well.
Chaperoning patients.
Assisting with procedures and consultations.
