An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Referral Management Centre (RMC) for a Clinic Co-ordinator. The post holder is responsible for the effective configuration, management and optimisation of the MAXIMS EPR (PAS) and e-Referral Service (e-RS) systems, alongside delivering a high-quality, patient-centred booking service.
The role supports RMC operations, endoscopy and outpatient booking processes, system upgrades, clinic capacity management and national access targets, including RTT and cancer pathways. Acting as a key liaison between patients, clinical teams, GP practices, system suppliers and operational management, the post holder will ensure safe, efficient and compliant service delivery.
Main duties of the job
- Configure and maintain clinic builds, profiles and system updates within MAXIMS EPR and e-RS.

Process and manage e-RS referrals and worklists within agreed timescales.

Deliver booking services in line with national NHS access standards, including 18-week RTT and cancer pathways.

Manage waiting lists, clinic utilisation and elective pathways to ensure compliance and optimal capacity use.

Coordinate clinic cancellations, short-notice changes and additional clinics where required.

Maintain data quality, monitor reports and escalate risks appropriately.

Liaise effectively with patients, consultants, GP practices and multidisciplinary teams to support operational delivery.

Ensure confidentiality, professionalism and adherence to Trust policies at all times.
