An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Referral Management Centre (RMC) for a Clinic Co-ordinator. The post holder is responsible for the effective configuration, management and optimisation of the MAXIMS EPR (PAS) and e-Referral Service (e-RS) systems, alongside delivering a high-quality, patient-centred booking service.

The role supports RMC operations, endoscopy and outpatient booking processes, system upgrades, clinic capacity management and national access targets, including RTT and cancer pathways. Acting as a key liaison between patients, clinical teams, GP practices, system suppliers and operational management, the post holder will ensure safe, efficient and compliant service delivery.

Main duties of the job

  • Configure and maintain clinic builds, profiles and system updates within MAXIMS EPR and e-RS.
  • Process and manage e-RS referrals and worklists within agreed timescales.

  • Deliver booking services in line with national NHS access standards, including 18-week RTT and cancer pathways.

  • Manage waiting lists, clinic utilisation and elective pathways to ensure compliance and optimal capacity use.

  • Coordinate clinic cancellations, short-notice changes and additional clinics where required.

  • Maintain data quality, monitor reports and escalate risks appropriately.

  • Liaise effectively with patients, consultants, GP practices and multidisciplinary teams to support operational delivery.

  • Ensure confidentiality, professionalism and adherence to Trust policies at all times.
