Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team of 15 dietitians, 4 dietetic assistants and 2 nutrition nurses as our Lead Nutrition Support Dietitian.
We are looking for a candidate with substantial experience in nutrition support, either an experienced band 7 or a Band 6 looking to develop their leadership skills.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting junior dietitians and dietetic assistants working in our acute hospital. Excellent communication and organisation skills will be required and you will contribute to service development within the dietetic service and nutrition support team. You will be work closely with medical, surgical and ITU colleagues as well as HEF dietitians for discharge planning and coordination nutritional care for complex patients.
