Job summary
WVT is increasing their team of mobile Soft Facilities Assistants due to the opening of the our exciting Community Diagnostic Centre that is opening in Summer 2025. We are seeking individuals who are able to provide a high standard of cleaning in healthcare environments. We are seeking mobile workers who are able to drive, work flexibly and can work between 16.5 and 27 hours per week (3 - 5 shifts). There is an expectation of evening and opportunity of weekend work however, this could be worked around school hours. You will be based in the centre of Hereford and expected to travel to all sites requiring the service. You will be working in a team with good support and a pool car can be provided from your base.

Main duties of the job
We are looking for individuals who can:
- Deliver and achieve a high standard of cleaning in both clinical and non-clinical settings, to the standards set within the NHS National Standards of Cleanliness (2021) - TRAINING PROVIDED
- Provide a range of general cleaning services to clinic rooms, offices and toilets/showers including vacuuming, wet and dry mopping and damp dusting.
- Ensure all chemical and cleaning solutions are used correctly.
- Carry out all cleaning tasks in accordance with the work schedule.
- Wear protective clothing necessary for tasks to be completed.
- Always observe site rules and regulations.
- Report all machine and building faults to Supervisor.
- Full clean driving licence essential.
