We are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced candidate to join our Divisional Management team as General Manager for the Head, Neck and Orthopaedics Directorate. This is a demanding, yet rewarding post in a high profile Directorate that includes a number of key services. You will have highly developed leadership skills, high levels of personal motivation and resilience and a proven ability to lead and deliver success through multi-disciplinary teams.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will have responsibility for the daily operational management of the Head, Neck and Orthopaedics Directorate, leading the Directorate alongside the Clinical Director and Matron to deliver high quality, safe, efficient and cost effective services.
This is an exciting time for Wye Valley NHS Trust as we prepare to open our brand new Elective Surgical Hub in summer 2024. To this end, the successful candidate will lead key service improvement workstreams within their Directorate. More broadly, the successful candidate will ensure key operational targets are delivered, alongside ensuring robust governance arrangements are in place.
