Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified individual to take steps into a Clinical Nurse Specialist role within the Cardiac Rehabilitation Team.
The successful applicant will also retain a clinical caseload for Cardiac Rehabilitation patients and help steer service development.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will maintain a clinical workload within Cardiac Rehabilitation, working as part of a team and as an autonomous practitioner. They will facilitate working across boundaries and inter-agency working where necessary.
The post holder will be responsible of planning and monitoring annual leave for the Cardiac Rehabilitation Team and assist the Cardiac AHP/CNS Lead to monitor the Departmental annual budget for the CNS, Cardiac Rehab and Heart Function Rehab Teams.
The post holder will liaise with other WVT teams related to Cardiology to ensure 'joined up' care, eg. Consultant/Dr teams, Heart & Lung Investigations Dept., Radiology etc.
The post holder will assist the Cardiac AHP/CNS Lead in the management of the Cardiac Services teams (CNS Team, Cardiac Rehab, Heart Function Rehab and Administration). This will include budgetary, workforce, education and governance responsibilities.
