Job summary
Wye Valley Trust is creating a new and dynamic team to carry out cleaning in our buildings throughout Hereford City.
We are looking for keen reliable cleaners who strive to work at a high standard. Cleaning experience is preferred but full training will be provided.
You will be based in the centre of Hereford working in the evenings (with optional weekend work available) as part of a team cleaning at a number of sites with vehicle provided.
A number of 5.5 hours shifts are available between 3 and 5 days per week to suit your needs.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for individuals who can:
- Deliver and achieve a high standard of cleaning in both clinical and non-clinical settings, to the standards set within the NHS National Standards of Cleanliness (2021),
- Provide a range of general cleaning services to clinic rooms, offices and toilets/showers including vacuuming, wet and dry mopping and damp dusting,
- Ensure all chemical and cleaning solutions are used correctly,
- Carry out all cleaning tasks in accordance with the work schedule,
- Maintain a high level of personal hygiene and appearance,
- Wear protective clothing necessary for tasks to be completed,
- Always observe site rules and regulations,
- Report all machine and building faults to Supervisor,
