Main duties of the job

To facilitate multidisciplinary patient-centred care, working with colleagues from therapies and complex discharge team, to ensure a timely and safe discharge.

To assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.

On a regular basis, accept the responsibility for the management/leadership of the ward/department in the absence of the senior nurse.

To participate in the supervision and teaching of staff and students.

Participating in continuous improvement as an individual and a team.
