You must hold a degree or equivalent qualification in Diagnostic Radiography and be registered with the HCPC. Recent NHS or equivalent experience is essential.
This role will involve working nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
Although the position is primarily based at Cannock Chase Hospital, you will be required to rotate across all trust sites.
Main duties of the job
As a diagnostic radiographer, you will rotate through the full scope of plain film imaging, including ED, fracture clinic, main X-ray, fluoroscopy, theatres, mobile imaging, dental radiography and heart and lung outpatients. You will work across both the New Cross and Cannock CDC sites to support the delivery of our comprehensive services.
You will deliver high-quality patient care and produce accurate diagnostic images, working independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team, ensuring patients are supported throughout their visit.
Our service operates over extended hours, including weekends and bank holidays, and you will be required to participate in a flexible working pattern.
