Are you interested in joining our team of Haemodialysis nurses?

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our nurse led haemodialysis unit. We are looking for an enthusiastic & highly motivated professional nurse to deliver compassionate person-centred care, and treat patients, service users, their families and their carers with consideration, dignity and the respect you would want for yourself or your family.

Provide managerial and leadership skills to support the Senior Sister / Charge Nurse and nursing team to deliver continually improved standards and efficient and effective use of resources.

The successful candidate must have a genuine passion for ensuring our patients needs are met and be able to work flexibly and within the multi-disciplinary team.

You will require experience in Renal Nursing, strong communication and IT skills, and be able to liaise effectively across all haemodialysis units.

Main duties of the job

To be professionally accountable and maintain the standards of professional practice as set by theappropriate regulatory body applicable to your profession or role.

To deliver compassionate person-centred care, and treat patients, service users, their families and their carers with consideration, dignity and the respect you would want for yourself or your family.

To support and deputise for the Senior Sister / Charge Nurse in ensuring the standards of professional practice as set out by appropriate regulatory body applicable to your profession or role are maintained.Utilise clinical proficiency in delivering a high standard of nursing care. Provide managerial andleadership skills to support the Senior Sister / Charge Nurse and nursing team to deliver continuallyimproved standards and efficient and effective use of resources.

Ensure a high standard of safe clinical care and record keeping in accordance with Nursing and Midwifery Council, national legislation and local standards.

To ensure effective contribution to the delivery of the organisation's objectives

Contribute to the development of an organisational culture that supports continuous learning and development, evidence-based practice and succession planning.

Support the appraisal process by ensuing that personal development plans are developed and that they are consistent with the teams and organisations objectives, succession planning and workforce development and support professional revalidation.

Network with peers across professional groups and clinical disciplines promoting the exchange of knowledge, skills and resources. Have high-level communication skills and contribute to wider development of practice by publicising and disseminating work through presentations at conferences and articles in the professional press.
