Job summary
We have an innovative opportunity for an experienced Allied Health Professional (AHP) to take on an exciting fixed term role within our AHP Research Team. Working with the AHP Research Lead, this role will help build research capacity and capability to create a research ready and research active AHP workforce at the Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust, aligning with the Trust's strategy, vision and strategic objectives.
You should have excellent communication skills together with the ability to motivate others, exhibiting significant initiative. You should be able to work autonomously, demonstrate enthusiasm and innovation when faced with challenges and be able to utilise excellent project management and time management skills in conducting research activities, managing multiple tasks/projects concurrently.
This role requires Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registration.
Main duties of the job
Facilitate and promote AHP research and development (R&D) in theTrust in partnership with theAHP Research Lead.
Support the AHP Research Lead to develop and implement a local CPD strategy along with professional practice standards which are fully integrated with the Quality Framework.
Align professional developments to support the delivery of the Trust's strategy, vision and values and strategic objectives.
Drive patient quality and experience in order to exceed agreed standards using quality improvement methodology and evidence based practice.
Undertake and support AHP research.
